  7.                              Future Plans of PseudoCode
  8.
  9.           We envision 3 levels of the PseudoSam series of Cross-Assemblers:
  10.
  11.                I.   Basic  Assembly  Language  with  no frills, but all the
  12.                     necessary tools to develop working programs.(no cost)
  13.
  14.                II.  Advanced assembly  language  with  powerful  Macros and
  15.                     Conditional Assembly.(low cost)
  16.
  17.                III. Professional  assembly  language with Library handlers,
  18.                     Link Editing, and Relocatable Loading.(moderate cost)
  19.
  20.           We are currently developing Machine Simulators  to complement our
  21.           line of  cross assemblers.  Watch for  our ADs  in the Classified
  22.           sections of Byte, Micro Cornucopia, and Computer Shopper.

  29.                              PseudoSam Cross-assemblers
  30.
  31.           PseudoCode is pleased to announce the release of Level II  of the
  32.           PseudoSam family of cross development products.
  33.
  34.           EXTENSIVE EXPRESSION HANDLING
  35.
  36.           PseudoSam cross-assemblers  provide the  following arithmetic and
  37.           logical operations.
  38.
  39.                Logical bitwise not.
  40.
  41.                Logical bitwise or.
  42.
  43.                Logical bitwise exclusive or.
  44.
  45.                Addition.
  46.
  47.                Subtraction.
  48.
  49.                Multiplication.
  50.
  51.                Division.
  52.
  53.                Logical bitwise and.
  54.
  55.                Logical shift right.
  56.
  57.                Logical shift left.
  58.
  59.                Negation(2's complement).
  60.
  61.                Unlimited parethesization.
  62.
  63.
  64.           MACROS
  65.
  66.           With the release of  Level II  PseudoSam assemblers  now have the
  67.           following macro processor based capabilities:
  68.
  69.                Very powerful macro substitution capability.
  70.
  71.                Unlimited nesting of macros.
  72.
  73.                Unlimited nesting of conditionals.
  74.
  75.                Unlimited levels of include files.
  76.
  77.                Text string pattern matching.
  78.
  79.                Substring manipulation.
  80.
  81.
  82.
  83.
  84.
  85.
  86.           Commonality among all cross-assemblers.
  87.
  88.
  89.           1.   All  PseudoSam(Pseudo  brand  Symbolic AsseMbler) assemblers
  90.                conform to  a common  syntax based  on the  UNIX V assembler
  91.                syntax. The  opcode and addressing syntax is compatible with
  92.                the  manufacturers  but  label,  directive,  and  expression
  93.                operator  syntax  will  in  general differ. PseudoCode chose
  94.                this syntax because of the popularity of the Unix system and
  95.                to  avoid  the  difficulty of maintaining compatibility with
  96.                the multitude of Original Equipment Manufacturer's assembler
  97.                formats. This commonality also makes the transition to a new
  98.                processor easier and faster.
  99.
  100.           2.   The  macro  processor  is  based  on  the  Unix  V  M4 macro
  101.                preprocessor. Although  Level II  does not  implement all of
  102.                the features of M4,  it is  more flexible  and powerful than
  103.                macro   processors   generally   associated   with  Assembly
  104.                language.
  105.
  106.           3.   Although Level II does not  support  the  useful  feature of
  107.                relocatability  you  will  find PseudoSam assemblers capable
  108.                tools for developing microprocessor based systems.
  109.
  110.
  111.
  112.
  113.           The PseudoSam Family consists of the following cross-assemblers:
